As I promised here is the script for creating dropdown menus with the list of Airlines, Countries, Hotels and Car Rental companies with PHP.

Well, I can say with no exaggeration that I have done many things today and my site is coming along pretty well. I like what it resembles right now a lot and I have many wonderful ideas that I will implement later, if I can conquer my laziness

Anyways, there is really nothing to say now, the site won’t be up for some time, until I am more or less satisfied with it, but when it comes live, it should be great =)

Tomorrow I will share a PHP script that creates a dropdown box with all the Airlines, Hotels, Countries and Auto Renting companies (that’s what I remember), it is pretty useful for anyone who works with travel industry.

I must admit I was so tired and frustrated yesterday that I didn’t even feel like writing anything here. Even if I did it would probably come out gibberish, because my brain refuses to function. The site is coming along, which makes me a bit happier of course.

Now, I don’t know what stage (or state, or kind) of completeness will it have by friday, but it should be pretty filled up and working fine =)

As for the blog.daniil.ca redirect, it doesn’t work for some reason, it points to the home page of wordpress. So that’s just another bug to fix. On that note, adios!

Unsurprisingly, today I didn’t really advance far in making the new version of the site. I must say, I didn’t slack off completely, but I didn’t give it my best either…

Now, I know I am a pretty lazy person, that’s understood, but I have some sort of a writer’s block, I just don’t have any ideas or inspirations and it is always hard to try and create something from nothing, so when there is no creative fuel, really, the chances are close to 0…

Well, I still have 4 days to complete that thing, and I am better be working my ass off on this thing.

I just set up a redirect on my site that will point to this blog and will look like blog.daniil.ca.

Hope it’s going to work. So if it does, everything is not so bad afterall, I don’t really need this blog on my own server I am not even sure if I will keep it after graduation, I’ll probably get something siiick I won’t change my domain name, though, it is waaaay too good)

For a while, this (or some other standard design I will pick) will be a design of this blog, since I need my time to do more important things, and after that I will create my own or find something that suits me better =)

I tried, oh I tried so hard

I tried installing WordPress and MovableType on my hosting, so I would have a logical name, kinda like daniil.ca/blog, but I couldn’t do it…

Considering the fact that I have an extensive experience with things like that (I installed phpbb, mamba, phpnuke and other cms and forums built on php before), I guess there is actually something wrong with my hosting. So for now, I will just use this address to post the updates on the site. And there should be a lot of those soon, because I plan to redesign my site.
